Create a Group Event on Vyte with kMeet
To create a group Event on Vyte with kMeet :
Click "Create an event."
2. Enter a title for your event and add your guests by entering their email addresses.
3. Click "Suggest dates and locations."
4. Suggest dates for your event
Click "Choose a date"
If your guests also have a Vyte account, their availability will be displayed in the calendar view.
Create date suggestions by clicking on the calendar. Drag the suggested time slots to your preferred times, and adjust their duration by resizing the time block.
Click "Save."
5. Add a location
Click "Choose a location."
Select kMeet from the available video conferencing options.
Thanks to the integration between Vyte and kMeet, a kMeet video conferencing link is automatically generated as soon
as the meeting is confirmed—there's no need to create a meeting room manually.
Click "Save."
5. Add a message to your guests if needed.
6. Click "Send this event" to send the invitations.
Once the invitations have been sent, all guests will receive an email notification with a direct link to vote on the proposed dates and locations.
Guests who have not yet voted will automatically receive a reminder email 24 hours after the initial invitation is sent.
Once all votes have been collected, you can confirm the meeting using the selected date and location. The kMeet meeting link will then be generated automatically and included in the calendar invitation sent to all participants.
Reminder: For events with only two participants, guests (non-admin users) can vote for only one proposed date.
Note: You do not need a kMeet account to add kMeet as the meeting location.
