Reminder:
If you want Vyte to generate Google Meet links as soon as you confirm your appointments on Google Meet, please make sure your default connected calendar is a Google calendar.
If you want to add a specific Google Meet link, connecting a Google calendar is not required.
To set Google Meet as the default place on your Vyte page:
Go to the settings of the Vyte page in question (My Vyte page or appointment type)
Go to the "Advanced settings" tab
Click on "Pick a place"
Insert "Google Meet” in the "Place, Address, Skype, Call" field
Click on the second option that appears (with the Google Meet logo on the left)
If you want Vyte to generate a Google Meet link when you confirm the appointment:
If you want to add a specific Google Meet link
Click on "Save" at the bottom right of your screen
Activate the “Forbid suggesting another place” feature
Save your new settings at the bottom of the "Advanced settings" page
Warning: It is necessary for Google Meet to be the only place option of your Vyte page for it to be the default location of all the appointments booked through this Vyte page.
If you don't want your guests to be able to see the appointment location from the booking page, enable the "Hide places on your page" feature.
If you do not use a specific Google Meet link, a Google Meet link will be automatically generated when the appointment is confirmed.
Once the appointment is confirmed, the Google Meet link will be available in:
The confirmation email
The Vyte event page
The event details added to your default connected calendar, and to your guests' calendars
