How to assign appointments from a team page to a single team member?

Learn how to assign (randomly or specifically) appointments booked from a team page to a single team member.

Round-robin or random attribution

To configure a Vyte page so that booked appointments are reserved for a random person

  1. Create your team

  2. Create an appointment type or choose an existing appointment type that you want to convert into a team appointment type

  3. Go to the Description settings of this appointment type

  4. Activate the "Team appointment type" feature

  5. Make sure that the features "Invite all team members" and "Team member selection" are not activated

  6. Don't forget to save your changes πŸ˜‰

Specific attribution

To assign the appointment to a specific person in a team you can:

  • Let your guests choose who from the team they want to meet

  • Create assignment rules with a booking form

1) Team member selection

This option is available for public teams only.

To allow your guests to choose the member they wish to meet:

  1. Create your team

  2. Activate the "Public team" feature in the team properties

  3. Create an appointment type or choose an existing appointment type that you want to convert into a team appointment type

  4. Go to the Description settings of this appointment type

  5. Activate the "Team appointment type" feature

  6. Activate the "Team member selection" feature

  7. Optional: You can define:

    • The title of the dropdown menu in the field "Title above team member select"

    • The default choice in the field "Default option label".

  8. Don't forget to save your changes πŸ˜‰

From now on, your team page will display a dropdown menu to choose from the team members.

If the guest chooses the default option (No preference), the appointment will be randomly assigned.
