Type of events in Outlook

In Outlook you can show events as Free, Working Elsewhere, Tentative, Busy or Out of Office

You may wonder how Vyte will take those events into account.

How Outlook events are taken into account by Vyte

Free events will be shown as Free on Vyte

Working Elsewhere events will be shown as Busy

Tentative events will be shown as Busy

Busy events will be shown as Busy

Out of Office events will be shown as Busy

TL;DR: all events will be shown as Busy on Vyte unless they are shown as Free on Outlook

Private Events

What about private events ?

Private events will be taken into account by Vyte, just like non Private events would.

So they will be shown as Busy unless they are set as Free.

Automated Out of Office events

Ok so Vyte does take into account Out of Office events I have created, but what about events that have been created automatically by Outlook when I setup my auto response to emails for my vacations ?

Those events will be taken into account by Vyte and shown as Busy just like the ones you have created yourself.

All day events caveat

Vyte does take into account all day events (unless they are set as Free), but for that you need to enable the "Block bookings on busy all day events" in the availability settings of your Vyte booking page and / or a specific appointment type.
