Can teammates from different time zones share a Vyte page?

Yes! Vyte automatically detects and converts time zones, making it easy for teammates in different time zones to share their availability on the same booking page.

When multiple co-hosts are added to an appointment type, Vyte adjusts their availability to the time zone of the person booking the meeting. This ensures that meetings are never scheduled at times when any teammate is unavailable due to time zone differences.

Example: Team members in different time zones

Imagine you're based in Paris, France, and your teammates are in the following locations:

  • Pablo: Mexico City, Mexico

  • Jeanne: Sydney, Australia

How to set up your teammates' availability

Step 1: Create a User for Your Teammates

  • Follow this guide to create a new user: How to create new users

  • Note: If you don't see the "Users" section in your account, please contact Vyte support to enable it.

Step 2: Set Their Time Zone

  • In the user's personal settings, select their correct time zone.

Step 3: Create a Vyte Page for Each Teammate

  • Go to the "Page" section and create a Vyte page for the teammate (e.g., Pablo in Mexico City).

  • Enter their name, for example, and save.

Step 4: Set Their Availability

  • Click on the "Availability" section to input their availability based on their time zone.

  • Important: This step ensures that their availability will display correctly, in their local time zone.

  • Don't forget to save!
    (These steps can also be completed by each teammate on their account.)


How to set up a shared booking link for teammates in different time zones

Step 1: Create a Team and Add Teammates

Step 2: Admin Settings

  • Make sure your admin account is an admin of the team, but NOT A MEMBER.

  • If you want your admin account to also be available for bookings, you'll need to create a new user for it, as described above.

Tip: In the screenshot below, I created a new account called "Maria" (located in France). As the admin, my original account cannot be a team member, as it would interfere with the team appointment settings.

Step 3: Create an Appointment Type

  • This ensures customers will see availability across the team.

Step 5: Choose the Correct Team

Step 6: Configure the Availability of the Booking Page

  • Click on "Availability"

  • And set the appointment type to be available all the time (e.g., from 12:00 am to 12:00 am).

  • The time zone for this appointment type doesn't matter, as Vyte will filter the availability based on your team’s individual time zones.


What Customers See

When a customer books a meeting:

  1. They can select their own time zone (e.g., New York, USA).

  2. Vyte will automatically:

    • Convert all team members' availability into the selected time zone.

    • Display only the time slots when at least one teammate is available.

This ensures seamless scheduling across different time zones!
